# Config

This block defines the **police vehicle radar settings** — basically how far, wide, and high the radar scans for vehicles and license plates.

***

### 📝 Field Explanation

* **frontOffset** = `3.5`\
  How far in front of the police vehicle the radar scan begins.
* **backOffset** = `3.5`\
  How far behind the police vehicle the radar scan begins.
* **height** = `0.5`\
  Vertical height of the radar detection zone (above ground level).
* **radius** = `3.2`\
  Width of the radar beam (how wide the detection area is).
* **plateDistance.front** = `70.0`\
  Maximum distance (in meters) the radar can read license plates **in front** of the vehicle.
* **plateDistance.back** = `70.0`\
  Maximum distance (in meters) the radar can read license plates **behind** the vehicle.

***

👉 In short:\
This config controls how the **radar detection zone** is shaped around the police car — how far it projects front/back, how wide the beam is, and how far it can scan plates in both directions.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.0resmon.org/0resmon/0resmon-1/frkn-resources/frkn-police-job/radar-and-remote-system/config.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
