## Detailed Explanation

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

#### Create a new JSON File

Create a new JSON file in the script `locales` folder, following the `locales/en.json` format.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Set the Locale setting value (if you don't want to use ox\_lib)

Ensure the correct `Config.Locale` value is set in `config.lua`.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Add the convar to your server.cfg (if you want the use ox\_lib)

To change the preferred language from English, add the convar to your server.cfg and change `en` to the desired language code.

{% code title="server.cfg" %}

```lua
setr ox:locale "tr" -- Example
```

{% endcode %}
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
If the server's `Locale` is set to `fr`, then a corresponding `locales/fr.json` file should be created.
{% endhint %}
